365/365: a 2025 wrap up + sagi szn part (ii), in film ✨

never too late bcuz somewhere in the world it’s still 2025 and i was deep in the zone of reflecting on the blog (been 2 years since i wrote anything on that space whut)
tldr: 2025 ngl you were relentless in throwing me all sorts of lessons but its made me harder better faster stronger for the new year~

meant the world to me to have my nearest and dearest gathered for a very *chaotic* but lovely dinner; now everyone knows who needs to be invited to my funeral/parties/wedding etc etc (missed you two @ferinexwolves @jooyeec) i love you all!!

355/365: decembers are my favourite time of the year cuz i get to slow down a little bit, spend more time with everyone I love and celebrate ~ ugh there’s just something lighter, crisper in the dec air ✨
this year felt a bit more special having lived 30 years (who wouldve thought?! certainly not 15 y/o me haha), and it feels like everything that has happened this past year was meant to prepare me for what i know will be a challenging but exponentially rewarding new year: understanding perspectives but realising fully what is my task, and what/who deserves my time + energy (thank you fumitake koga and ichiro kishimi). A good friend of mine wrote me a card recently and she reminded me that i “don’t always have to be this giant maiden holding everything together —“
And to that, i see in these photos the faces of people who made it(/me) possible; i knew id never be alone 🥹🥰

this just the beginning of what will be a short, beautiful life

ok that’s not entirely true; december has not yet allowed me to slow down its been busier than ever and the body fell ill but i cant wait for the days between christmas and new year!! How lucky i am to be this tired doing the things i once wished i would be doing

329/365: felt super weird not having lunch or dinner or a fireplace hang with this bunch the first couple of days back home 🥹
kept very warm this winter in company of all these kind, generous, talented people, and i was very much reminded of what i love about life and why i do what i do - how we are more alike than different, how you somehow find answers in new people/places, how in the grand scheme of things we are just but a moment in this time/space that all but makes these bits even more precious (thank you @warefquba for documenting our time northern lights- watching~)

322/365: it’s been quite so overwhelming in the best ways to have experienced so many firsts within this short week; what does one do being constantly surrounded + (over)stimulated by so much beauty - both in people and in spaces? ✨

living in winter made me appreciate more -
daylight/sun,
warmth,
open-toe shoes,
my kyocera tumbler,
green
/ this season is passing me by much too quickly,
but i love that the cold forces us to keep our freezing hands in our pockets so that some evenings, when we walk to the supermarket, all we can do is exchange breaths + memories. we’re just human again
